Global Handwashing Day

Today is #GlobalHandWashingDay. At The Usual Place, one of the first things our trainees learn is the importance of handwashing and cleanliness to prevent the spread of illnesses such as the flu and food poisoning.

Oasis Youth Centre Community Cafe

A FREE community cafe will be open at Oasis Youth Centre between 1pm and 3pm on Friday 25th October. This is being run as part of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Big Soup Share and the RHS Campaign for School Gardening. Bronwyn

What a good way to start the morning!  We are celebrating with Bronwyn as she has successfully completed her Hospitality Services SVQ. Bronwyn has worked incredibly hard to achieve the underpinning knowledge elements for gaining this qualification, and today she has been presented with her certificate by Tony Budde, our Chef Assessor. Well done Bronwyn!
