How does it feel to start your first job?

Well, according to Ryan, it’s “Amazing!”.

Ryan couldn’t resist popping in to see us after his first shift with The Cairndale Hotel & Spa where has successfully achieved a new part time role serving food and drinks to Spa customers and assisting with associated tasks with his Mentor Justin.

Ryan is also training in The Usual Place cafe where he is a valued team member who always gives his best and is a quick learner. His understanding of customer service is a joy and he has a strong grounding in food health and safety through our programmes and real world experience in our cafe.

Cafe Mentor, Tina and Employer-Ability Mentor, Sharon were delighted to hear all about Ryan’s first day in his new job where he is obviously being made very welcome by Justin and the The Cairndale Hotel & Spa team. He said it was very busy with lots of customers and they were all really nice too.
