Employability and Citizenship Mentor (P/T role – Kitchen Mentor)

Post of Mentor (Kitchen) – minimum 15 hrs per week (Monday to Friday 8am-11am) – £12.60 per hour (Real Living Wage). Additional hours will be expected at evening and weekend events.

The Usual Place Cafe is a not for personal profit organisation based in Dumfries. You will work as part of a team who work with young people aged 16-26 to deliver a welcoming customer experience, enabling them to gain the skills they need to achieve employment in the hospitality or retail industries.

You will have warmth, enthusiasm and a creative approach to your work along with the ability to engage positively with a wide range of people. Appointments are subject to enhanced disclosure from Disclosure Scotland and two references, that we consider acceptable.
