Training at The Globe Inn to prepare for our Fine Dining Fundraiser Summer/Autumn 2025

Liam and Evan (and Mentor Thomas) have had the amazing opportunity to spend time with the multi-award winning chefs from 1610 at The Globe Inn to learn the skills required to prepare some of the dishes for our Fine Dining Afternoon Fundraiser on Sunday 26th October.
From sauces, to salmon wellington, veg prep and the most divine desserts, they have been learning all the steps to understanding flavour, texture, taste and presentation.
Here’s just a sneak peak into what they’ve been up to.
This amazing experience to learn from some of the best chefs in Scotland is inspirational and hugely instructional for young people training at The Usual Place. We are indebted to Fraser, Jonathan, Chitra and the whole team at The Globe Inn for this incredible opportunity.
