Eva, Noemi and Leah Complete Their Work Experience

Last week we said goodbye to Eva, Noemi and Leah who have been with us for the past six weeks on our S3 Schools Work Experience Programme in collaboration with Dumfries High School.
It’s been wonderful to see how involved they have all been in every aspect of this great opportunity and how much they have grown in skills and confidence.
From baking, decorating, serving customers, taking orders, preparing drinks and cakes, cleaning tables, handling money to learning about food health and hygiene and polishing and wrapping cutlery, all three have worked enthusiastically with their mentors and have been great and they will be missed by our team.
The six week work experience programme for S3 pupils is very popular and we look forward to welcoming a new group of pupils to learn at The Usual Place soon.
