Abi completed her Food Health and Hygiene Course last week and lots of team members got together at the end of the day to congratulate her and present her certificate.

Abi has worked very hard on this fundamental course which is such an important underpinning for anyone wishing to work in food, drink and hospitality.

She has learned through a combination of practical experience and mentored theory, discussion and talking through tasks and the reasons behind them. In this way, Abi has practiced lots of skills such as ironing , cleaning toilets, customer service, learning where and how to store food safely, making sandwiches using the correct colour-coded boards and equipment to avoid cross-contamination, and so much more…
