You may recognise Harry as he completed his training here in our cafe and has been a very engaged member of our team over the past year or so.

He’s now back in further education, studying Computing at Dumfries and Galloway College as well as working one day a week with us at The Usual Place. This is a great complementary role and we look forward to seeing Harry spread the word about all the things that happen here at The Usual Place.

Harry and our other amazing Intern, Leah, both have lived experience and their enthusiasm, skills and ideas bring great insight into what The Usual Place does and will place young people’s voices at the heart of telling everyone how we enable young people with additional support needs to fulfill their potential.

Harry and Leah will be working on projects and campaigns over the next year, so watch out for their posts on Facebook over the weeks and months to come.
